Midwest Book Awards Finalist Delicate Armor, new 2nd edition, published by Heron Bay Publishing
We received a very warm welcome in my hometown of Slayton on Friday, March 30th. Bill Bolin, former teacher and park naturalist, trekked with me along Slaughter Slough, Bloody Lake, Lake Shetek, and other local areas. Southwestern MN is a most beautiful part of our state—small communities, rolling prairies, sloughs, timber, lakes, and wildlife—Happy to be back.
THE BOOK LAUNCH on September 11, 2011 was a tremendous success—lovely to greet friends and family, enjoy refreshments, fine music, and laughs together. Thank you all for coming to the party! This was the start of something grand!!
